Coming soon - Collect your DPD order from your local Post Office.
Our courier DPD have just announced a partnership with the Post Office which means that from next week, DPD parcels can be collected from a number of Post Office branches across the UK.
Customers will have the option to choose their local post office as the collection point and then DPD will then deliver parcels directly to the Post Office for the customer to collect.
The exact locations are still to be confirmed, but it is reported that they are starting with 250 Post Office branches initially, and aiming for 1,500 to become pick up points by Christmas.
The demand for click and collect solutions was rising at a rapid rate of 14% each year before the pandemic struck (IMRG). With many people now due to return to the workplace, it is hoped that the Post Office pick up points will not only offer customers a convenient choice, but also encourage footfall to the high streets and reduce carbon emissions as the drivers make a reduced number of journeys.
